[2] In Oliver Stone's script, we can find the "A Witch Shall Be Born" story line, with the usurpation of the princess' throne by her presumed dead twin sister. The princess is called Yasmina and her sister Taramis (in Howard's text, they are called Taramis and Salome). Taking bits and pieces here and there, Stone also used the "Black Colossus" frame, in which Conan is chosen by Queen Yasmela of Khauran to lead defence of the country against an ancient sorcerer brought back to life. Stone transformed the sorcerer into Thulsa Doom and gave him mutants as an army.
