From 1982, German editor "Heyne Verlag", cashing in on the success of the Milius film, decides to republish all the Conan novels in a brand new collection. What is so special with these new editions? The first 29 books (on a final total of 54) use production stills as their covers, which makes them quite wanted for foreign fans collectors (outside Germany), all the more wanted since a few of these stills come from scenes that are no longer featured in the final cut of the movie.
